Questex Travel Group Announces Dates and Locations for Two Regional MICE Events
NEW YORK (September 29, 2016) ─ Questex Travel Group today announced the dates and locations for two of its regional events in their meetings group portfolio, under the Global Meeting & Incentive Travel Exchange (GMITE) umbrella.
The third annual Latin America Meeting & Incentive Travel Exchange (LAMITE) event will be held June 19-23, 2017 at the Porta Antigua and the Hotel Camino Real Antigua, in La Antigua, Guatemala.
The eighth Caribbean Meeting & Incentive Travel Exchange will be held August 13-16, 2017 at the Hyatt Zilara/Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
Each event, held in partnership with SITE, the Society for Incentive Travel Excellence, will each feature an educational component presented by Meeting Professionals International, culturally immersive activities and receptions, and are the only events in these markets offering private, one-to-one pre-scheduled appointments in deluxe hotel rooms.
LAMITE is the first and only event to bring travel suppliers to Latin America for face-to-face appointments with meeting planners and incentive buyers based there who place business globally.
Contrary to that, CMITE will bring high-volume, North America-based meeting planners and incentive buyers to Jamaica to meet one-to-one with Caribbean suppliers.
Suppliers at each event will represent cruise lines, tour operators, destination management companies and sought-after incentive destinations, hotels, resorts and spas across the globe.
